Michael Foley Joins Business Capital
Business Capital, a leading commercial finance and debt restructuring firm, announced the addition of banking expert Michael Foley as Senior Underwriter and Analyst . He will join the credit team working with lending partners and clients to effectuate the syndication of commercial financing for small to mid-sized businesses in need of working capital.
“We are excited to add such a valuable member to our team. Mike has been in the commercial banking and financial services industries for the last eight years and brings extensive experience in analyzing, underwriting and securing credit for companies that are in need of working capital but finding sources elusive,” said Chuck Doyle, Managing Director of Business Capital. “There is a real funding void for small to middle market companies and the current credit market is very fragmented. With Mike on board, we can increase our reach and ability to navigate clients through the process with extensive marketplace knowledge and exceptional customer focus. He will augment our capacity to be highly responsive to our lending partners’ needs as well. It’s also great to know that Mike is a hard core Red Sox fan!”
Foley brings extensive expertise in structuring credit and managing lending relationships. Before joining Business Capital, he spent five years in commercial banking with Silicon Valley Bank located in the Boston area, specializing in the technology, life science, venture capital, private equity and premium wine industries. He took on roles of increasing responsibility – initially working as an underwriter and credit analyst and then managing a portfolio for the bank’s extensive commercial client base. He earned his B.S. in economics at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and holds an MBA from Boston University’s School of Management.
