Chuck Doyle, CTP
Chuck Doyle is the Managing Director of Business Capital, a leading corporate finance and restructuring company founded in 2002. He has over 25 years of experience providing senior debt and growth capital financing for lower and middle market commercial and industrial companies and restructuring bank, mezzanine, trade, supplier, venture and other types of debt. His firm specializes in packaging financing solutions which can include complex layers of capital and restructuring of debt, if necessary, to maximize capital value and cash flow.
While at Business Capital, Mr. Doyle has syndicated over $1 Billion of asset based debt, successfully securing multi-million dollar credit facilities and debtor-in-possession financing transactions and completed large out-of-court acquisitions of distressed companies. He has executed out-of-court reorganizations for a multitude of companies and resolved secured and unsecured creditor claims both in the US and internationally. As such, he is frequently retained as an independent advisor to boards of directors of public and private companies involved in the restructuring and recapitalization process.
Prior to Business Capital, Mr. Doyle was the founder and president of one of the country’s 10 fastest growing privately held companies. He also worked in the technology sector, heading up divisions of both public and start- up companies and was a partner in Caymus Capital (www.caymuscapital.us), a private equity firm focused on investing in distressed real estate assets.
Chuck currently serves on the Board of Directors of Team Impact, a national non-profit improving the quality of life for children facing life-threatening illnesses through the power of team (click here to read more about the organization and Chuck’s personal invovlement). A Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), he is a member of the Board of Directors for the Northern California chapters of both the Turnaround Management Association and the Commercial Finance Association. Chuck is also a member of the Gridiron Leadership Council at his alma mater, the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts and member emeritus of the Board of Directors for the Raphael House shelter in San Francisco. Active within the commercial finance industry, he has served as a speaker and moderator on a multitude of panels including for the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), and Secured Finance Network (SFNet).
Chuck is married with four children and resides in Sausalito and Olympic Valley, California.
