Cynthia Curtis is an Account Manager at Business Capital. She joined the firm in 2009, during which time she has managed operations and been an integral part of the administrative and restructuring team. Cynthia also manages the research and development staff. A graduate of Occidental College and The Juilliard School Internship Program, Cynthia’s previous management experience includes serving as Production Stage Manager for Off-Broadway productions in New York City and Operations Manager for a large real estate appraisal firm in Los Angeles.
Victoria Kavetskaya is currently responsible for managing administration, operational and research support at Business Capital. She brings years of experience in administration, operations and customer service in several industries, including finance, healthcare and travel. She holds a degree in linguistics and has studied international relations and diplomacy from universities in her native Belarus. She also holds a degree from the City College of San Francisco and continues to study economics at San Francisco State University.
Denise Plumb is an Account Manager and has been with Business Capital since 2009. She has been an integral part of the restructuring, sales and finance team responsible primarily for client acquisition and account management. Prior to her current position, she worked as part of the research and administrative team at Business Capital. She formerly held a position with Sprint/Nextel, where she assisted in managing some of their largest B2B accounts in the state of California. Denise continues to study business within the city college systems of San Francisco and Fresno.
Marshall Serkes is a Financial Analyst and Business Development Associate at Business Capital. Prior to this current position, he worked for Business Capital as a research analyst. He has experience in both finance and law. He holds a series 3 financial license, a degree in Accounting from St. Louis University and has leveraged his skills to analyze and research commodity market trends and manage investment portfolios. Marshall also worked in the legal field where he was responsible for researching and writing memorandums and assisting in public hearings and negotiations.
Spenser Tangman is a Financial Analyst and Business Development Associate at Business Capital. Prior to this current position, he worked for Business Capital as a research analyst. graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Economics and minors in Business Administration, English and Chemistry. Prior to joining Business Capital, Spenser worked in the healthcare field as an analyst and technician at a large University Hospital where his expertise led directly to the implementation of new patient care systems and procedures.
Sean Tatarian is a Financial Analyst and Business Development Associate at Business Capital. Prior to this current position, he worked for Business Capital as a research analyst. Sean attended San Diego State University and majored in Economics, focusing on microeconomics and business cycles. Prior to working for Business Capital, Sean was the head account executive at a San Diego based independent insurance firm where he was responsible for business development, client acquisition and client portfolio management. Sean was also formerly a property manager for one of the largest Bay Area commercial and residential property management firms.
